I’m a sucker for a hot blonde in a Charger Girl uniform and Shelbi Buchholz was all that and more. She hails from Yorba Linda, California…a hotbed of dance talent, judging from the number professional cheerleaders who have come from the area. And there are/were a lot of them…surprising, I know.
Anyways, Shelbi was a triple threat: great dancer, good looks, and extremely photogenic. I guess that’s why I enjoyed photographing her on those Sundays in San Diego.
Good times, indeed.
